About Mindi

...has a contagious enthusiasm for all things Yoga, Meditation, and Ayurveda. She values this combination as a powerful and practical tool for finding peace, balance, and skillful engagement with a chaotic world. Her style blends the "woo woo" with a practicality that enables students to sensibly apply the teachings of yoga to everyday life. Mindi sees devotion to the practice, personal growth and spiritual awareness as a means to interact more thoughtfully with the world, rather than a way of escaping or avoiding reality. As such, Mindi devotes her time to restorative justice and teaching incarcerated populations, making yoga accessible to a more diverse range of students.

Mindi discovered yoga 15 years ago in hopes to receive it's benefits on the physical level (strength and flexibility). But after a bout with debilitating panic and anxiety, she realized the potency of it's benefits reached far beyond the physical realm.

As she set herself on a path of healing, it was yoga that was the backbone of all her efforts to find inner peace. She was able to increase sensitivity within her body and feel anxiety as sensation and slowly slowly the narrative around it started to erode. She could not be more grateful for this practice. Mindi went from being scared to leave the house to embarking on a long journey to India to deepen her knowledge of Ayurveda and Yoga.

Mindi is a 500 hour certified yoga instructor specializing in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Krama Method, Ayurveda and Vipassana Meditation.

Many thanks and deep bows of gratitude to all her teachers.
